Wildscript

Who we are

A publisher built on editorial reverence.

Wildscript was born from the conviction that children deserve books that treat them as the intelligent beings they are.

Mission

Why Wildscript exists.

Wildscript is an independent publisher founded in 2026 with a clear mission: to make natural science as compelling as the best-written fiction. We publish illustrated fauna collections — books that read like a good story and teach like a good teacher — facts verified against real sources, told with the tension of a novel.

Wildscript is an independent publisher based in Peru, founded in 2026. We're a small team of passionate readers who have spent years studying animals for the love of it. We're not credentialed zoologists — we're self-taught experts. We research each book against primary sources: scientific papers, zoological records, specialised veterinary literature. The result is prose dense in facts but light in reading.

Every Wildscript book goes through four verification layers: primary scientific sources, informal peer review, narrative editing and sensitivity review. Books conceived to accompany curious, self-directed nature learners.

The author

Kaizer Magnus.

Kaizer Magnus is the editorial pseudonym under which all Wildscript books are published.

Behind that name works a team of self-taught experts, editors and designers. The pseudonym doesn't hide people — it's a coherent editorial brand that guarantees consistent voice and style across all titles.

Each book in the Naturalia series is researched from scratch against primary sources: biology papers, zoological records, specialised veterinary literature. The result is prose dense in data but light in reading.

Values

What we believe.

Rigour without condescension

Children detect when they're underestimated. Our books use correct vocabulary, explain real anatomy and cite verified science.

Beauty as argument

A beautiful book gets read. We invest in editorial design, typography and photography because aesthetics are part of the message.

Editorial independence

We have no investors to please and no algorithms to follow. We publish what we believe is worth publishing.

Three languages, one voice

We publish simultaneously in Spanish, English and German. We don't translate — we adapt, with native speakers for each language.
